3 Really Personal Reasons as to Why We Built FourTurns

We're getting real — no holding back. Here's the honest story behind why we built FourTurns, straight from the heart.

We're not holding back y'all — it's time to get real. Here are 3 really personal reasons why we built FourTurns.

1

First Try at Becoming an Indie App Developer

I'm not holding back y'all, it's time to get real.

This year, I really want to let go of my fears, and to ship something I've been dreaming of creating.

And I'm making an assumption here, but maybe you can relate to having big dreams and aspirations and to telling yourself "this weekend I'm gonna [insert task]". But when it comes time to do it... well, that's kind of when all the feelings of anxiety and imposter syndrome come hitting like a ton of bricks.

I don't know if it's really imposter syndrome, writer's block, or whatever, but I know how I feel. And I just feel like these feelings are getting in the way of thinking "what if this goes right?"

"What if this goes right?"

So that would be the first reason. It's truly the first app I've ever put on the App Store and I'm just excited to see if it goes well.

I Like Casual Games, but Not Like That

Yeah, to be honest for this one, I just wanted something chill to play. I don't really like to play games all like that, but sometimes it's just nice to play something relaxing but also brain focused at the same time.

I feel there are people like me who are in between the "I don't play games at all" and "I play games here and there" spectrum.

😂

But I was just asking myself, can we just make something chill?

I Want to Build More Stuff for Others

So FourTurns is a very cool game right now, it's really simple. You just need to rotate the nodes so that all the color bars can match and that's how you beat the level.

But it's also expandable and that's the exciting part.

So if we can just get more downloads and feedback on the game about how to make it better from all the people who have been playing it, we'll really take that feedback in, and build it out for you.

Hope You Enjoyed Our First Article

We've had a lot of fun building FourTurns and seeing it rise, but most of all, we hope we can make a game more fun for you.

So if you want us to make any modifications, download the game, try it out, and let us know what you think.

We'll try to get back to you soon. Until then, enjoy, see you in the next article. ✌️
